LITERASI BUDAYA PADA MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI DIPLOMA III ADMINISTRASI RUMAH SAKIT

Cultural literacy is an essential competency that must be possessed by students of the Diploma III Hospital Administration Study Program in dealing with cultural diversity within healthcare services. This article aims to examine the importance of cultural literacy among students through a literature review method using scientific references from the last five years. The results of the study indicate that cultural literacy plays a significant role in improving communication skills, tolerance, empathy, and humane healthcare administrative services. In addition, cultural literacy is closely related to students’ ability to utilize digital literacy wisely in the modern era. Therefore, strengthening literacy culture in higher education institutions is necessary to support the professional and social competencies of Hospital Administration students.
