Employee attendance data are often stored as administrative recaps without further analysis to support managerial evaluation. This study analyzes employee attendance and absence rates by division at PT XYZ using exploratory data analysis and cross-tabulation. The data comprise 1,232 daily records from 44 employees in six divisions during 16 February–15 March 2026. Data cleaning standardized attendance codes and excluded days off, one pre-employment record, and one missing entry from the operational-rate denominator. The analysis used frequency distributions, division-by-status cross-tabulation, daily trend visualization, and attendance-rate calculations. The results show 808 attendance records and 27 authorized absence records from 835 active work opportunities, producing an overall attendance rate of 96.77%. Advertising recorded the highest rate at 98.87%, whereas IT & Product Development recorded the lowest at 92.98%. The article contributes a transparent operational denominator and a division-level descriptive procedure for early-stage workforce analytics, without establishing employee discipline or causal relationships.
