This article argues that such perception reduces the empirical reality of the surveyor's work, which in practice performs a public relations function at the most critical touchpoints between the surveying company, mining clients, coal buyers, shipping vessels, and port authorities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with literature study and document analysis on coal inspection practices at the draft survey stage, barge sampling, sample preparation in the laboratory, and the issuance of the Certificate of Analysis (CoA). Analysis results are determined not only by sampling but also by sample preparation, since errors in crushing, dividing, or drying at the preparation stage will carry through to the certified figures. The findings show that the effectiveness of digital communication thru WhatsApp, email, cloud-based reporting applications, and real-time field photo sharing is decisive in managing three main risks: the risk of analysis result disputes, the risk of loading delays, and the risk of losing client trust. Field surveyors are thus constructed as boundary spanners and informal public relations agents who build relationship management based on openness, responsiveness, and data integrity. Ovarian cysts larger than 5 cm are recognized as the main predisposing factor. A 33-year-old multiparous woman presented with sudden-onset right lower abdominal pain lasting four hours. Physical examination revealed tenderness over the right adnexal region. Ultrasonography demonstrated a well-defined unilocular hypoechoic cystic mass measuring approximately 2.5 × 4.6 cm arising from the right adnexa, accompanied by absent ovarian blood flow on Doppler evaluation. An emergency laparotomy was performed, revealing a torsed, dark-brown right ovarian cyst. Right salpingo-oophorectomy was undertaken because the adnexa appeared non-viable. Histopathological examination confirmed an ovarian cyst. The postoperative course was uneventful, and the patient was discharged in stable condition. Socio-spatial perspectives have emerged from the understanding that space is not merely a static backdrop but an active social determinant that shapes well-being and educational outcomes. This study aims to provide a comprehensive mapping of the global literature on the application of socio-spatial dimensions in educational practices. A Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA framework was conducted to analyze 28 selected articles published between 2015 and 2026. Thematic analysis identified five major research themes: (1) inequalities in educational access and spatial justice; (2) spatial pedagogy through the analysis of teacher mobility and interaction; (3) learning environments as psychogeographical ecosystems; (4) socially oriented education grounded in identity, decolonization, and community spaces; and (5) the expansion of educational interactions into digital, virtual, and cyber spaces. The findings indicate a paradigm shift toward a dynamic relational perspective in which spatial agency actively shapes students' cognitive experiences, emotions, and identities. This study concludes that overlooking spatial interdependencies in educational policies may reinforce social segregation. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the effect of aloin administered in combination with metformin on hepatic histopathology and tumour necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) expression in aged male mice with obesity and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Methods: This experimental study used a post-test-only control group design involving 32 male mice (Mus musculus) divided into two groups: a positive control group receiving metformin and a treatment group receiving metformin plus aloin. After 28 days of intervention, hepar tissues were examined using haematoxylin–eosin staining and immunohistochemical assessment of TNF-α expression. Results: The treatment group showed relatively better-preserved hepatocyte morphology and more organised hepatic architecture than the positive control group, although several areas of cellular injury remained detectable. TNF-α immunoreactivity was less extensive and more scattered in the treatment group. The mean hepatic TNF-α value was lower in the treatment group than in the positive control group (81.244 ± 13.238 vs 99.352 ± 6.993). The difference between groups was statistically significant (p = 0.011). Conclusion: Aloin supplementation alongside metformin was associated with improved hepatic histological features and lower TNF-α expression in aged obese mice with type 2 diabetes mellitus. These pathological conditions impair dermal homeostasis by promoting collagen degradation, suppressing fibroblast activity, and disrupting extracellular matrix remodeling, ultimately resulting in dermal thinning and delayed tissue repair. Aloin, the principal anthraquinone glycoside isolated from Aloe vera, possesses well-documented antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that may protect dermal tissue against oxidative injury. This study aimed to investigate the effect of aloin administration on dermal thickness in male Mus musculus with dyslipidemia-induced obesity. Methode: A true experimental study employing a posttest-only control group design was conducted using thirty-two male mice with experimentally induced dyslipidemia and obesity. Animals were randomly allocated into a control group (n = 16) and an aloin-treated group (n = 16). The treatment group received oral aloin at a dose of 750 μg/kg body weight once daily via gastric gavage for 28 consecutive days. Skin specimens were processed for histopathological examination using hematoxylin-eosin staining. The problem is concrete: promotion still travels by word of mouth, digital channels are barely used, the halal-thayyib process is never written down, and revenue has swung sharply between 2022 and 2025. Using a qualitative descriptive design, data were gathered through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation involving five informants: the owner, a production worker, a repeat customer, a raw-material supplier, and a representative of the Muaro Jambi Temple tourism group. Analysis followed the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model of data condensation, display, and verification, with source and technique triangulation. The findings show that Jamila Catering already honours much of what sharia marketing asks for, honest pricing agreed in advance, halal and fresh ingredients, trustworthy delivery, and orders fulfilled in full, but does so intuitively rather than as a managed system. What is missing is the outward-facing layer: a real digital presence, a clear market segment, a structured menu-and-price catalogue, and written proof of the halal-thayyib process that could turn private trust into public reputation. The study recommends building a WhatsApp Business catalogue, formulating themed halal-thayyib packages, keeping a simple internal control sheet, and forging a fair-share partnership with the temple tourism sector.
Muhammad Hafiz, Agustina Mutia, Nurfitri Martaliah Copyright (c) 2026 Muhammad Hafiz https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2229 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 ANALISIS TINGKAT KEHADIRAN DAN KETIDAKHADIRAN KARYAWAN BERDASARKAN DIVISI PADA PT XYZ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2236
Employee attendance data are often stored as administrative recaps without further analysis to support managerial evaluation. Objective: To evaluate the effect of adding aloin to metformin on renal foam-cell occurrence and renal histopathological changes in an aged, obese mouse model of T2DM. Methods: A laboratory experimental study with a post-test-only control-group design was conducted using 32 aged, obese male mice with T2DM. Mice were randomly assigned to receive metformin (250 mg/kg body weight/day) or metformin plus aloin (750 μg/kg body weight/day) for 28 days. Kidney tissues were examined using hematoxylin and eosin staining, and differences in renal foam-cell occurrence were analyzed using the chi-square test. Results: Renal foam cells were observed in 68.8% of mice receiving metformin and 18.8% of those receiving metformin plus aloin, representing a significant reduction (p = 0.004). The combination therapy also showed better-preserved glomerular and tubular architecture and fewer inflammatory cell infiltrates. Conclusion: The addition of aloin to metformin was associated with a significantly lower occurrence of renal foam cells and better-preserved renal histological architecture. These findings suggest that aloin may serve as a potential adjunct to metformin for attenuating diabetes-associated renal histopathological changes.
Sheza Nadhif, Nadia Purnama Dewi, Nurwiyeni Nurwiyeni, Ade Teti Vani, Dessy Abdullah Copyright (c) 2026 Sheza Nadhif https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2243 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 BEYOND COST AND PRODUCTIVITY: INTEGRATING ESG INTO MINING CONTRACTOR ASSESSMENT FOR SUSTAINABLE MINING OPERATIONS https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2233
Mining contractor assessment has traditionally focused on operational performance indicators such as cost competitiveness, productivity, fleet capability, safety performance, and financial strength. However, the mining industry is currently experiencing a significant sustainability transition driven by Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) expectations, decarbonization commitments, regulatory pressures, and increasing stakeholder scrutiny. These developments have expanded the criteria required to evaluate contractor performance and long-term competitiveness. This study aims to develop a conceptual framework for integrating ESG considerations into mining contractor assessment. A conceptual literature review approach was employed by examining recent studies on contractor evaluation, sustainable mining, ESG implementation, and sustainability management. The analysis indicates that traditional contractor assessment criteria remain important but are no longer sufficient to address emerging sustainability challenges. The findings suggest that future contractor evaluation should incorporate additional dimensions including ESG maturity, governance capability, decarbonization readiness, digital capability, and innovation capability. Based on these findings, this study proposes an ESG-integrated mining contractor assessment framework that combines traditional operational criteria with sustainability-oriented capabilities. The framework contributes to the literature by extending conventional contractor evaluation approaches and introducing the concept of future-ready mining contractors. Practically, the framework can assist mining companies in improving contractor selection, evaluation, and development processes while supporting sustainable mining operations.
Rikko Denia Copyright (c) 2026 Rikko Denia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2233 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 IDENTIFIKASI DAN ANALISIS FAKTOR-FAKTOR PENYEBAB CHANGE ORDER TERHADAP PERFORMA PROYEK MENGGUNAKAN METODE DECISION TREE https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2213
Change orders occurred can give a result directly or indirectly. Unfortunately, these opportunities also come with increasing challenges related to operational disruptions, new emerging risks, and complexities of regulations. As digital technologies become more embedded in business processes, understanding the role of governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) becomes more crucial. This study examines how these mechanisms support financial institutions in balancing innovation and sustainability during digital transformation by employing a thematic literature review guided by the PRISMA 2020 framework. The review process began with 338 records from Scopus database and after a series of screening and eligibility stages, 16 articles were extracted for final analysis. The findings show that digital transformation is generally associated with improved organizational performance, innovation capability, and resilience. However, the literature also highlights emerging risks arising from greater technological dependence and increasing cybersecurity concerns. Across the reviewed studies, governance consistently appears as an important factor in shaping how organizations manage these opportunities and risks. The analysis further suggests that governance, risk management, and compliance work most effectively when viewed as complementary capabilities rather than separate functions. Based on these findings, this study proposes a digital GRC perspective that illustrates how integrated GRC practices can support resilience and sustainable performance in financial institutions undergoing digital transformation.
Larasati Puspa Martani Sugianto, Vecco Suryahadi Saputro, Adisti Gilang Cempaka, Saskia Salmana Dahyar Copyright (c) 2026 Larasati Puspa Martani Sugianto https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2187 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 SKENARIO ROADMAP IMPLEMENTASI PENGEMBANGAN PEMBANGKIT LISTRIK TENAGA SURYA (PLTS) UNTUK MENDUKUNG TARGET ENERGI TERBARUKAN PROVINSI NUSA TENGGARA TIMUR https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2265
East Nusa Tenggara Province has substantial solar energy potential, with an average annual solar irradiance of approximately 413 W/m² and 8 Peak Sun Hours (PSH) per day (NASA). Firm size strengthens the effect of ROA, does not moderate ROE, and strengthens the negative effect of EPS. The moderation model increases adjusted R² from 0.230 to 0.293.
Alvan Naufal Khoirullah, Titin Agustin Nengsih, Kurniyati Kurniyati Copyright (c) 2026 Alvan Naufal Khoirullah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2276 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 FACTORS INHIBITING ENGLISH LANGUAGE ACQUISITION: A CASE STUDY AT SMP BABUL ISTIQAMAH https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2274
This study aimed to identify the factors inhibiting English language acquisition at SMP Babul Istiqamah and to explore the students’ efforts to overcome students' problems in learning English. Indonesia's National Health Insurance Agency (BPJS Kesehatan) has implemented a fingerprint-based verification system to authenticate patient identities, accelerate administrative processes, enhance data accuracy, and prevent misuse of healthcare services. This study aimed to analyze patients' perceptions and satisfaction with the use of fingerprint verification, as well as to examine the relationship between fingerprint utilization and patient satisfaction with registration services at the outpatient registration unit of R.A. Kartini Regional General Hospital (RSUD R.A. Kartini) Jepara. This research employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study sample consisted of 85 BPJS Kesehatan patients selected using an accidental sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire (1–5) and analyzed using descriptive statistics and the Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between the variables. The results showed that the implementation of fingerprint verification in outpatient registration received positive evaluations and was categorized as effective, thereby contributing to increased patient satisfaction. The Chi-Square test produced a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between patients' perceptions of fingerprint use and their satisfaction with registration services. However, several challenges were identified, particularly among elderly patients and in cases of network disruptions that affected the verification process. Improving service quality can be achieved through regular device maintenance and system updates to optimize the performance of the fingerprint verification system.
Nurul Aviva Rahmawati, Muhammad Purnomo, Zunia Khairunnisa Copyright (c) 2026 Nurul Aviva Rahmawati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2246 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 THE USE OF FINAL TEST AND PORTFOLIO ASSESSMENT IN MEASURING THE LEARNING ACHIEVEMENT OF EIGHT GRADE STUDENTS AT SMPN 1 SUSOH https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2281
This study investigates the distinctions and interrelationships between Final Test and Portfolio Assessment in evaluating the academic achievement of eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Susoh. A quantitative, comparative-correlational design was employed, with a sample of 61 students selected through total sampling. Secondary data, consisting of Final Test and Portfolio Assessment scores from official school records, were analyzed. Data analysis included descriptive statistics, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank test, and Spearman’s correlation, utilizing IBM SPSS Statistics version 26. The results indicate a significant difference between Final Test and Portfolio Assessment scores (p < 0.05), with Final Test scores generally higher than Portfolio Assessment scores. Furthermore, a significant positive correlation was found between the two assessment types, with a Spearman correlation coefficient of 0.565 (p < 0.05), suggesting that students with higher Final Test scores also tended to achieve higher Portfolio Assessment scores. These findings demonstrate that, although the two assessment methods yield different results, they are complementary in providing a comprehensive evaluation of students’ learning achievements. Therefore, integrating Final Test and Portfolio Assessment offers a more holistic approach to assessing student learning outcomes. The study's limitations include a relatively small sample size, focus on a single school, and reliance on secondary data, which may limit the generalizability of the findings.
Zulfarkhannia Zulfarkhannia, Sukri Adani Copyright (c) 2026 Zulfarkhannia https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2281 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 REVIEWING ANIMATION FILM MEDIA IN IMPROVING STUDENTS' ENGLISH VOCABULARY https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2283
Vocabulary mastery is essential for developing English language proficiency. However, many English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners continue to experience difficulties in acquiring and retaining vocabulary. Although numerous studies have investigated the use of animation films in vocabulary instruction, their findings remain fragmented across different educational levels. Therefore, this study aims to systematically review the positive impacts and challenges of using animation films to improve students’ English vocabulary learning in the Indonesian EFL context. A systematic literature review was conducted by analyzing 12 empirical studies published between 2016 and 2026. The studies were retrieved from Google Scholar using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria and analyzed through Braun and Clarke’s six-phase thematic analysis. Taguette software was used to facilitate the coding and categorization process. The analysis generated two overarching themes and eleven sub-themes. The findings revealed six major positive impacts of animation films: improved vocabulary mastery, positive learner perceptions, increased motivation and classroom engagement, enhanced vocabulary comprehension through visual context, supported incidental vocabulary learning, and promoted autonomous learning. However, the review also identified five recurring challenges, namely fast-paced dialogue, dependence on subtitles, uneven learning outcomes, distractions during learning, and technical issues. Overall, the findings indicate that animation films are an effective instructional medium for supporting vocabulary learning by providing meaningful, contextualized, and engaging learning experiences. Nevertheless, their successful implementation depends on careful instructional planning, appropriate media selection, teacher guidance, and adequate technological support. This review contributes to the existing literature by providing a comprehensive synthesis of both the pedagogical benefits and implementation challenges of animation films in English vocabulary instruction across different educational levels in Indonesian EFL classrooms.
Puja Risma, Puan Tursina Copyright (c) 2026 Puja Risma https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2283 Thu, 30 Jul 2026 00:00:00 -0400 BELANJA DAERAH, PENDAPATAN ASLI DAERAH, DAN PENDUDUK SEBAGAI DETERMINAN PDRB KABUPATEN/KOTA DI BALI https://ejournal.nusantarahasanajournal.com/index.php/nhj/article/view/2280
This study examines the effects of regional expenditure, locally generated revenue (PAD), population, and the COVID-19 period on gross regional domestic product (GRDP) in the nine regencies and city of Bali Province during 2016-2024.
